About the Project

Dedicated at the 2017 Parkway Centennial kick-off, Parkway Daydreams is a visual celebration of Philadelphia’s cultural boulevard. For 100 years, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway has been the home of landmark cultural institutions like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Rodin Museum, the Franklin Institute, and so many more. Artist Miriam Singer created a whimsical expression of city art and architecture, essential components of Philadelphia daily life, weaving an imaginary landscape of color and dimension. The mural spans 18 stories, scrolling vertically on the East Tower of the historic Park Towne Place apartments.
