From artists David Guinn and Drew Billiau, Electric Philadelphia, the mural and light installation under the 6th & Vine Streets underpass, is the new gateway to Philadelphia’s Historic District. The 8,500-square-foot artwork adjacent to Franklin Square fills both sides of the 6th Street Bridge underpass under the Ben Franklin Bridge with color by day and illuminates the space linking Old City with the booming, formerly industrial neighborhoods to the north by night.

This dedication on July 7, 2021 was part of Arts & Culture Recovery Week presented by Mural Arts Philadelphia, Visit Philly, Historic Philadelphia and the Office of Councilman Isaiah Thomas.
