Lauren West was born in Georgia and grew up outside of Philadelphia. With an early love for nature, she worked in the outdoor industry for 10 years while also receiving her BFA in graphic design. Lauren then worked in advertising as an in-house designer and art director. Her work explores nature, humor, and everyday life with a focus on simple forms, color, and imaginative space through a number of disciplines.

Lauren currently lives in South Philadelphia, with her two cats, working as a full-time freelance illustrator and designer.
