Group and Private Tours

Trolley Tours

Private Trolley Tours are a great way to showcase Philadelphia and explore some of its murals. Tour route options include Center City, South Philadelphia, North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia and Broad Street highlights.

The cost of a Private Trolley Tour is $690 for a two hour tour with a professional docent. You can choose to have your private tour leave from and return to one of five of our standard locations: The Bourse, the National Constitution Center, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Lloyd Hall, or the Doubletree Hotel. Please add $50 each for a non-standard pick-up or drop-off location. Special pricing is also available for suburban pick-up and waiting time. Note: Trolleys hold up to 35 people. If your group is larger than 35, additional trolleys are available at $650 each. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking.*

Motorcoach Tours

We offer a tour designed for groups using their own motorcoach bus. The tour includes highlights of Center City, West Philadelphia and North Philadelphia, and follows wide streets. Motorcoach tours include about 40 murals.

General Information about Tour Transportation

Trolleys for mural tours are supplied by Philadelphia Trolley Works. Most trolleys hold 35 people. Trolleys are open-air during spring, summer and early fall and closed in winter. Most trolleys have wooden seats. All trolleys have heat, but air-conditioning cannot be guaranteed. Closed trolleys are sent for suburban pick-ups as open-air trolleys are not able to travel outside of the city for suburban pick-ups. Handicap accessible trolleys are available and accommodate a maximum of 26 passengers. Please note that the first step onto the trolley is high. If someone from your group cannot navigate a large step, we recommend bringing a step-stool to accommodate him/her.
