Mural Arts mourns the loss of our colleague and friend, Bob Phillips.

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our colleague and friend Bob Phillips.
From 2004-2006, we had the privilege of collaborating with Bob and his wife (and business partner) Cheryl Levin on a sculpture and mosaic project called Metamorphosis (31st St. & Girard Ave., dedicated May 1, 2006, see photo above). Intended as a gateway from the Fairmount/Brewerytown neighborhoods to the Philadelphia Zoo, the project was a milestone for us and for Bob & Cheryl. Bob was an incredibly talented artist, and a generous, humble man. We remember him with affection and respect, and take pride in the work we accomplished together.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cheryl and the Phillips-Levin family during this difficult time.
